Our Vision and Values

Our vision is for Waipipi aakonga to learn successfully, communicate confidently, and interact positively with others.

Our Values

Co-operation means working well with others - sharing ideas, including everyone, and helping the group succeed together.

Accountability means taking responsibility for our choices - trying our best, owning our actions, meeting expectations, and learning from our mistakes.

Respect means showing kindness and consideration - caring for ourselves, others, our belongings, shared spaces, and the environment.

Enthusiasm means bringing energy and a positive attitude to learning - giving things a go, staying motivated, persevering, and taking pride in your effort and growth.

A beehive is a symbol for co-operation because bees work together in harmony, each playing a role to support the hive. It represents teamwork, shared purpose, and community.

A seedling is a symbol for accountability because a seedling only grows if someone takes responsibility for caring for it. We take responsibility for our choices, follow through, and look after what is ours.

A feather is a symbol for respect because it is light and delicate, reminding us to treat people, property, and the environment with care. Just like a feather can be damaged if handled roughly, our words and actions matter.

Starts are a symbol for enthusiasm because they represent energy, brightness, and positive momentum. Stars remind us to give things a go, stay motivated, challenge ourselves, and keep shining even when learning feels hard.
